Sales Associate - Meetings and Events
As our Events and Meeting Sales Associate your primary responsibility is to convert as many leads into Meeting and Event revenue and maximise opportunities across our portfolio.
You will take ownership of the pipeline, whilst maintaining good operational processes to ensure that targets are met. You will work within the sales team and will look at upselling the products and drive repeat revenue through existing customers, whilst also working closely with the community team to ensure a brilliant member experience.
- Work to KPIs and revenue targets to help achieve the group revenue budget, including upselling other products where appropriate.
- Answer and respond to all enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions to match them by offering a wide range of products available.
- Prepare proposals and issue contracts and invoices for confirmed bookings.
- Manage and improve the operational processes with the community teams, ensuring the customer experience is second to none.
- Liaise with community teams to organize tours of the space and accompany tours where required
- Identify and refer new or existing business within the portfolio
- Daily use of the CRM system as lead generation and task manager
- Conduct market research on what we offer, pricing and demand, ensuring our pricing and product offering is in line with the market
- Ensure the post event follow up process is efficient and obtain feedback and reviews on the event and meeting room space
- Manage forecast, budget and pipelines to ensure targets are met
- Manage 3rd party relationships and external stakeholders relating to meetings and events to drive additional leads, revenue and opportunties
