Huckletree strives to be an inclusive organisation and is determined to create a workforce that reflects the diversity of the UK, with equal opportunities and support for underrepresented groups.
Without knowing who is applying for positions with us, it is difficult for Huckletree to improve diversity and inclusivity. We believe that without measuring and tracking our efforts to improve the hiring, retention, and advancement of diverse talent, our commitments and pledges are meaningless.
As a growing community, we have a responsibility to ensure equality of opportunity. By working together, holding ourselves to account, and acknowledging where we are on our journey, we can level the playing field and make an impact in the long run.
You can help us achieve this goal by completing the pop up form after submitting your application. If you prefer not to share your information, then please select that option when filling in your form.
All of the information we collect is processed in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and any other applicable data protection legislation in the UK.

Championing Fairer Funding
Startup funding isn't equal. Since 2018, we've campaigned for more opportunities for founders to access funding, regardless of their background. From hosting an industry roundtable led by activist June Sarpong to challenging warm-intro culture with open-to-all VC meet-ups, we're passionate about empowering greater representation in the innovation system.
Supporting communities in need
We're opening up our spaces for good.
We want Huckletree to be a place where anyone can belong. All event and meeting spaces will be open to fundraising or charity groups to use pro-bono*. We're committed to creating safe spaces for community groups to come together, raise funds and drive outcomes for good.
*All pro-bono arrangements will be subject to availability.
Building an open, inclusive culture
We established our Culture & Diversity Committee, to safeguard and evolve Huckletree's culture as we grow, for our team, members, and community. Initiatives we're during include monthly 'voxbox' sessions to surface the challenges our members are facing, from burnout to hiring; Black Lives Matter resources for founders to educate, learn and impact change in their business from day one; and diversity & inclusion training
Supporting all Entrepreneurs
We couldn't have got this far without the help and support we were offered along the way. Now, we're giving a hand to the next generation of brave innovators and creators who will shape the future through:
Alpha, our pro-bono accelerator for early stage innovators from diverse underrepresented backgrounds.
Founder consultations and support sessions for any new entrepreneur who joins our community.
Partnering with vital advocacy groups on events, meet-ups and roundtables.
Our Entrepreneur in Residence initiative, offering an early stage founder a 12 month residency at one of our spaces, free of charge.
of our people are women
We are dedicated to encouraging a supportive and inclusive culture amongst our employees, members, and associated organisations. Our aim is to be an inclusive organisation which is representative of all sections of society, eliminates discrimination across all our policies and processes, and in which all employees feel respected and able to perform at their best.
At Huckletree, we acknowledge that diversity, equity and inclusion are not only interchangeable but interdependent and by capitalising on them we cultivate diversity of thought, connectedness and innovative solutions.
